We're back in the UK...

...and I'm not too thrilled about it! Prague was AMAZING! It was absolutely lovely, everyone was really friendly (apart from the British people, who were loud and annoying), the buildings were beautiful, the food was fantastic and I was more relaxed than I have been in ages. If we hadn't just bought a house here (which I am happy about...and a little stressed), I would consider living there. It has made me realise how much I dislike British culture/society.
Anyway, we are planning to go back next Autumn...hopefully. Of course it will depend on money and work at the time. We'll see.

Now we have to sort out house-buying stuff.

We are looking for a house at the moment, to buy. It is NOT fun. We have seen three places so far this week, two of which were awful and needed a huge amount of work doing on them. The third was actually very nice, but a bit more expensive than we wanted, although the owners are taking offers, so we may go and see it again at the weekend.
There was another that looks really good, on paper anyway. I've e-mailed the estate agent to arrange to see it, but the website does say it is already 'under offer', I am not too happy about this, as it is within our price range as well.
The whole thing is very annoying...and we haven't even started any paper-work or anything yet, and I am already massively stressed!

Hair

So, tomorrow evening I am going to a friend's house, and we are going to attempt to strip seven years worth of black hair dye from my hair, and then re-dye it brown (sort of my natural hair colour). Hopefully this will work! If not, I have four days to fix it before I go back to work.

I was informed by someone at work that having black hair makes me look like a goth, and this person didn't know that I actually was a goth until recently. I don't want to look like that anymore!

Driving Lesson 8/New Car!

I had a 2 hour lesson this morning, drove to Ashford (in Middlesex, not Kent) and back. Did lots of roundabouts and traffic lights, but it was all ok. Then this afternoon I went to look at a car that my friend was selling. It was a silver Nissan Micra, X reg. I am buying it!! I am going to take a cheque round to her tomorrow night. It's done 47000 miles (apparently, that's not very much for a car of this age), had an MOT done a month ago, and is taxed until the end of April.

I am VERY excited!

Not really looking forward to getting a bus to Slough every day though (at least until the 13th, when I have my test), when I start the new job.

It's only April and I am already wearing factor 50 sun cream. You may think this is a bit silly, as it is not summer just yet, but yesterday I forgot to put sun cream on my chest, and now I have a heat rash there, which is quite itchy and irritating.
We were in Brighton yesterday. I went on the pier (which was a bit scary, lots of chavvy people and lots of water underneath you) and on a train (which I also found quite scary....don't like trains). Overall it was quite good though, and now I have a week off work so I am going to do very little, making the most of my time off before my degree starts and takes up all my spare time.

I am thinking about getting a russian style faux fur hat, I think they look nice generally, but might look a bit stupid on me. If I do get one, I may take it to Whitby with me. It's not something I really need though, so it's probably a complete waste of money. Hmmmmm....not sure! I'll have to think about this a bit more.
In other news, I have just completed my second assignment for my Proofreading course, it took ages (again), and I think I missed quite a lot of mistakes, just couldn't concentrate this morning.
I am sooo happy it's cooled down recently, it actually feels like Autumn is on it's way, so not long until Winter, yay!

Yay! I've just ordered a new skirt and a new top, and they are fabulous. There are two reasons for me treating myself to these lovely (but quite expensive) items:

1. Work is horrible and I want to cheer myself up.

2. It is looking quite likely that we will be going to Whitby this year, and I need to buy things to wear!

In fact if we are going, I am going to be buying a few more items to take with me....maybe some new boots, and at least one fairly outrageous outfit that I will probably never wear again. It's all very exciting!

This morning it was so hot that all my make-up kept smudging when I was trying to put it on, I ended up taking it all off and putting all my make-up in the fridge for half an hour, then attempting to apply it again, that seemed to work. So now my make-up must live in the fridge over night.
Yesterday was Bob's birthday, which was fun. We went out for a nice meal in the evening and I ate far too much.
Tomorrow we are going to see my parents, and I think I will dye my hair again, as the roots are starting to show quite a bit now.
I am still looking for a new job, well...half-heartedly looking anyway, but I really don't know what I want to do, it's quite frustrating.
